  • 2025-2026 Comprehensive Local Improvement Plan (CLIP)

    Cartersville City Schools invites all interested stakeholders to review and provide input in the development of the 2025-2026 Comprehensive Local Improvement Plan (CLIP).

    The CLIP is submitted annually to the Georgia Department of Education to outline the plan for the expenditures of federal programs including Title IA, Title IIA, Title IIIA, Title IVA, Homeless Education, and Title VIB funds.

    The review will take place on Tuesday, May 20 at 1 p.m.

    Central Office Board Room, 15 Nelson Street.

    Topics of discussion will also include District Parent Involvement Plan, Schoolwide Improvement Plans, and 1 % Parent Involvement Set Aside.

    • Records Elimination

      In accordance with 34 CFR 300.573, the Cartersville City School Board of Education will be destroying the Special Education Records of students born in/or before 2003. All records prior to this year have already been destroyed by Federal guidelines. Anyone interested in obtaining his or her records should notify the Special Education Department in writing by July 30, 2025. These records will be destroyed on January 31, 2026.
