• What is EIP?

EIP stands for Early Intervention Program

The Early Intervention Program is designed to service students who are at risk of not reaching or maintaining academic grade level.  The purpose of the EIP program is to provide additional resources to help students who are performing below grade level to obtain the necessary academic skills in order to reach grade level performance in the shortest time possible.

    EIP is not Special Education.

EIP is once a day. New classroom content will not be introduced during students' EIP time.

EIP is in addition to instruction received in the regular classroom.  It is offered in addition to regular classroom reading and math instruction. Students will not miss any required assignments during their assigned EIP time.

EIP teachers do not give grades to students.  Students remain in their class for grade level content and receive additional support during their assigned EIP time.
