Leadership development: FBLA makes it a priority for students involved, helping them hone in their leadership skills. 

Scholarships: FBLA gives students access to scholarships and awards that can help them finance their education. 

Awards: FBLA gives members many avenues to earn recognition and awards. This can be achieved by excelling in competitions at local, state, and national levels. Members also have the chance to gain recognition through partnership programs like the Virtual Business Challenge and the Stock Market Game. 

Community service: Community service is a key aspect of FBLA. Our members are presented with many opportunities to contribute positively to their communities. In addition to several volunteering events, we host several drives throughout the year to serve our school and community. 

Competitions: FBLA competitive events reward excellence in various business and career fields. They help students prepare for business careers by letting them use what they’ve learned in class in a simulated work environment. Students also get feedback from business professionals during these events. Competitors can choose to compete over 70 events. From tests, to presentations, to interviews, any student can find something they will enjoy and succeed in. Students who compete nationally can win hundreds of dollars for their success! 

Career preparation: FBLA inspires and prepares students to become community-minded business leaders in a global society through relevant career preparation and leadership experiences. 

FBLA can help you develop skills for business and careers. FBLA members gain real-world experience, make friends, and can earn awards and scholarships. 

FBLA members are taught leadership development skills through competitions, interactive workshops, and dynamic guest speakers. 

Members have to opportunity to go on day trips to places such as the World of Coke, Aquarium, Six Flags, Chick-fil-a Headquarters, a Hawks game, and many more. Overnight trips include the Fall Leadership Conference in Athens, Georgia; the State Leadership Conference in Atlanta, Georgia; and the National Leadership Conference which is being held in Anaheim, California in 2025.
